Anse de Favone/Favona (Cove of Favone), is a 50-minute drive north of Porto-Vecchio, on the Côte des Nacres coastline. Nacres means "mother of pearl", named after the pretty shell that used to be widely found here
As with the nearby coves of Fautea and Tarco, Favone beach is considerably less crowded than those near to Porto-Vecchio and, despite not being quite as flawless, is still attractive enough to warrant a visit if you are passing, perhaps on the way back from a visit inland.
Beach Description
Favone beach, 800 m long, has soft white sand and incredibly calm turquoise sea, so is good for swimming and snorkelling.

|
Lush verdant hill slopes descending into the sea, however some development of houses and villas right by the beach slightly spoil this otherwise picturesque setting. |
